NASA Logo Astronaut Patch

Every future astronaut needs the right gear, and it starts with this NASA Logo Astronaut Patch. It features NASA's official insignia, the classic round design that space fans everywhere recognize. Add it to a jacket, backpack or costume and your little explorer will look ready for liftoff.

This design has a fun piece of space history behind it. The insignia was first adopted during the 1960s, was replaced by the NASA "worm" logo in the 1970s, and then returned as the official insignia in the 1990s. Sharing that story is a great way to spark conversations about rockets, the Moon and the brave astronauts who traveled there. Kids who love space will be proud to wear the same symbol seen on real missions.

It is also the perfect finishing touch for an astronaut-themed Halloween costume, a space-themed birthday party or dress-up play at home. Tuck it into a stocking, pair it with a space toy, or add it to a party favor bag for a small gift that makes a big impression. For any kid who dreams of the stars, this patch is a simple way to celebrate that big imagination.
